A refurbished United States Post Office in New Braunfels has traded its mailboxes and envelopes for seafood and fine dining. When McAdoo Seafood Company opened its doors for the first time in 2007, it was an instant classic, and residents of Comal County have given it their stamp of approval. In addition to both indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant also boasts six on-site private spaces for events. The landmark is a window into the past, as the decor and photos in the restaurant transport you to the early days of New Braunfels. Built in 1915, the original Post Office served the community in its function and form, as the site became a watering hole for local news and gossip.
