The man-made reservoir called Lake Greeson can be found in southwest Arkansas The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers constructed it in the late 1940s and early 1950s to prevent floods along the Little Missouri River. It bears the name of James Luther Greeson, who from 1939 to 1952 headed the Corps of Engineers’ Little Rock District as its Chief Engineer. Great Fishing Opportunities

This place is a fishing goldmine at Lake Greeson. To be kept, smallmouth fish must be at least 12 inches long. The daily limit for largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass is 10, but only two of which may be smallmouth bass. Ten spotted bass may be taken each day in addition to the combined daily bass limit. There is also a daily limit of five trout. The rules provide more fun because of all the different fish they try to preserve, so there is more to catch later on. All the sport fish in the lake are from the following: black crappie, white crappie, largemouth bass, spotted bass, white bass, red-ear sunfish, bluegill, channel catfish, blue catfish, and flathead catfish. It feels like no matter where you throw your line you always get something back.
