On November 26, 2022, the city of Mineral Wells will feature a day-long Christmas festival. Residents and visitors can experience various artistic showcases from the community, so expect a day of merry-making filled with live local music performances, dance troupes, and family-friendly activities for children. A food-truck park offers a taste of the local fare, and alluring storefronts with artisanal goods make for an opportunity to sneak in some unique Christmas shopping.

But the festivities in Mineral Wells don’t stop here! After enjoying and sampling the regional delights, take in the Merry Wells Lighted Christmas Parade downtown. Onlookers will be dazzled by decorated vehicles of all shapes, makes, and models as they light up the streets at 6 pm. Possum Kingdom Boat Parade

Back at PK, Bluff Creek Marina will be putting on their annual lighted boat parade on December 10. Boats, large and small, will be decorated with lights, floaties, and props from bow to stern. Starting at dusk, this parade of lights launches from the marina, travels through the impressive Hell’s Gate, and cruises a winding 20 miles down the water until arriving at Lush Resort. Upon arrival, a panel of judges will determine winners from the two categories, and the night will end with a lavish buffet dinner. This event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to join in the holiday cheer.
