Ken Williams
Ken Williams is from Douglas, Alabama, just 20 minutes from Lake Guntersville, where he now sells lake property. Growing up on a farm, Ken developed a strong work ethic that is now evident in his real estate career. In 1983, Ken began his real estate career and started specializing in waterfront properties around 1990. Being from the Lake Guntersville area, he spent a lot of time at the lake and on the lake. As his knowledge grew about the lake through the years, he began focusing on selling lakefront property.
One of Ken’s favorite parts of being a real estate agent is meeting prospective buyers and sellers to help them learn about Lake Guntersville and the current real estate market.
“I have enjoyed all the time I spent boating on the lake in the summer with friends, family, and clients. Specifically, I have enjoyed times like the Fourth of July Fireworks on the water, having cookouts, and going to the Boat Races on Lake Guntersville.”
One of Ken’s most special memories is meeting several of the Pro Bass Fishermen who now live on Lake Guntersville. Ken says he was fortunate enough to sell some of them lake properties.
This lake expert enjoys boating with friends and clients. He has one daughter, Rebecca, a son-in-law, Corey, and a granddaughter, Awtry, who live in New Orleans on the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary campus. He enjoys any time he gets to be with them.
Ken is also a fan of Alabama sports and meeting friends at the new Harbor Development on Lake Guntersville. He boasts that he treats his clients the way he would like to be treated.
“I do my best to educate my clients about the town, lake, and surrounding areas. I’m very knowledgeable about Lake Guntersville and the property I sell. I am passionate about finding the right property according to the client’s needs. Also, I enjoy helping my sellers achieve their goals.”

Heather Williams is a powerhouse for the Ken Williams team. After being a stay-at-home mom and a registered nurse where she took care of people, she decided to take care of their homes instead.
Breaking down her client’s needs and giving them what they want in a future home is the best part of Heather’s job. Making them a part of the Lake Homes family is an entirely different type of satisfaction! She loves the uniqueness of sharing her favorite memories at work with boat rides and lake views. She fully believes that a feeling of community is what clients are looking for when choosing a future house on the lake.
An average day on the lake for Heather is boating on Lake Guntersville, going bass fishing, playing her favorite music, and enjoying the peace of the water. Coming from Monroe, Louisiana, the move to Alabama was quite the change of scenery. She went to The University of Alabama and decided to call the state her home.
Family is of the utmost importance to Heather, much like it is to her clients. She has a daughter, a son-in-law, and two sweet grandchildren. Going to New Orleans to see them is one of the best feelings on the planet for her.
