Also, Lenoir City citizens can spend a day at nearby lakes, including&nbsp; Melton, Hill, Norris, and Douglas, all within a 15 to 60-minute drive.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Completed in 1979 by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tva.com\/\">Tennesse Valley Authority<\/a> (TVA), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lakehomesusa.com\/karen-packett\/lake-guide\/tellico-lake\/\">Tellico Lake<\/a> spans 15,560 acres and features 357 miles of shoreline. Located in the headwaters of the Tennessee River, the lake stretches 55 miles upstream from the dam to the Holston and French Broad rivers.
