In contrast, Lake Quivera is only 4 acres with 1 mile of shoreline and can be found tucked high into the Rocky Mountains. Diverse Geography

Due to Colorado's Diverse Geography, there are never-ending activities for people of all ages. Climb the Southern Rocky Mountains or be daring and take on Mount Elbert. Mount Elbert is the second tallest peak in the United States. It extends almost 15,000 feet tall. Also, available year-round are the Great Plains and the many different hot springs found here.

Spend your day kayaking Lake San Cristobal, then meet your friends at Red Rocks Amphitheater to see your favorite band that night. Red rocks amphitheater is where music becomes one with nature, the seats and stage seemingly carved out of the surrounding rock. Colorado also has an annual food fight. The Tomato Battle is known to use approximately 80,000 pounds of tomatoes in one battle. With all the events and activities that happen in Colorado, you will not have any time to be bored.
