My grandfather probably didn't intend for me to become interested in real estate when he handed me a paint brush in 1970, but in a round about way that's what happened. I got started and interested in the real estate business at a young age painting fences around my grandfather's car lot. He would start me out with a paint scraper, brush, and a bucket of white paint. It was a lot of work, but freshening up that fence made quite a difference in the way my grandpa's lot looked. From that, I started to notice houses and other properties that could probably benefit from a fresh coat of paint or a little repair. As someone who has bought and sold property over the years, I understand the value and requirements of a good real estate agent.Before I obtained my own license, I employed the services of several real estate agents and, unfortunately, I didn't always get the service I expected. In fact my own experiences prompted me to get my license so that I could provide the high quality I expected and to make sure that my clients were satisfied. "This is a referral driven business." If the customer isn't happy, do you think they will refer me to their friends? I learned, quickly, to never be satisfied until my client is. While living primarily in a Twin Cities suburb and owning property on Lake Vermilion I am uniquely suited to serve others who wish to buy or sell recreation property. As a long time property owner I can provide comprehensive information to help my clients make informed decisions. And, as a Twin Cities resident, I can react quickly to client's needs in that location. I like to feel that, no matter where they are, my clients are covered "like a good coat of paint."
