Kara Becker is a full time Sales Agent/Associate Broker at Coldwell Banker Whitbeck Associates. Kara has had fourteen years experience in the computer/engineering field before becoming a Realtor.

Originally from Poughkeepsie, NY Kara worked at IBM in Poughkeepsie and Essex Junction, VT as a contractor. Kara specialized in semiconductor plant layout design for industrial engineering. During that time she became proficient in many areas, including design, organizational and computer skills as well as team work, all skills applicable to the business of Real Estate sales.

Together with her husband Kent, and their twin daughters, Kara is a homeowner on Lake Champlain where they enjoy beautiful views and boating activities. Before Kara and her husband had children they enjoyed traveling and have been to many places including Spain, Italy, Brazil, Greece, and Japan.

Kara has a special interest in lakefront property, condos, and new construction. Kara and Kent have been personally involved in the construction process from start to finish.

Kara offers buyers and sellers her personal knowledge and experience of the relocation and home building processes. Kara also enjoys working with first time home buyers and is dedicated to providing quality service, forming a solid relationship with her clients, and keeping them informed throughout the entire process.

Kara is an Associate Broker, a member of the National Association of Realtors, Clinton County Board of Realtors, and is a Certified Negotiation Specialist. Kara continues to take courses to further her education and keep up with technology.

Kara is excited to be a part of both the Coldwell Banker Whitbeck Commercial Team and Residential Sales. Kara looks forward to assisting the people of Clinton County in all their Real Estate needs.
